Interview with Nautical Prepper

James Talmage Stevens interviews Capt. William Simpson II

Capt. William E. Simpson II, an experienced, real-life U.S. Merchant Marine Officer with decades of boating and expedition sailing experience is the guest on this episode of Doctor Prepper’s C.P.R. Talk Show. This show focuses on a professional Marine Captain with his own 57-foot vessel, a licensed pilot of his own private twin-engine plane, and a prepper who has successfully survived long-term off-the-grid on remote uninhabited desert islands with his family––using sailboats he equipped for that special capability.

Capt. Bill holds a U.S.C.G. 500-ton captain’s license for commercial passenger vessels, including power, sail and assistance towing vessels. He is also a certified PADI-certified DiveMaster who has made hundreds of dives in both day and night. He is an avid inventor and in addition to his wide array of industrial arts skills, he is an instrument rated commercial airplane and helicopter pilot.

Capt. Bill is the author of The Nautical Prepper, which is a true account of some of his travels, experiences, and life with his family on remote islands for months at a time. Capt. Bill is an exciting example of today’s Renaissance Man, and timing was a factor in his life to provide such exciting opportunities to see and experience the world as few have others have. He is also an inventor, maritime consultant, and is currently engaged in writing a book about land-based bunker installations. Additionally, Capt. Bill and his team were awarded the highest Prepper score ever given in the history of the Nat Geo “Doomsday Preppers” and was deemed the ‘Best Prepper’ by National Geographic Doomsday Preppers.
